several questions in one here .. The Pacific by name is only dated from the time of Vasco Da Gama .. who, on rounding the cape, found a placid sea and called it Pacific - meaning calm (oh how wrong can you be) the Sea of Tethys - the original 'mother' sea has been present since the formation of the Earth about 4 Billion years (if you're American) if you're English then 4000 million years; since Pangaea was split into Gondwana and Eurasia about 3.5 (chose your value) years ago it would be considered acceptable to say the Pacific as we recognise it today is - still undergoing change by tectonic plate movement - has been around for about that many years

The oceans of the earth are believed to be as old as 4,000 million years. But there is a debatable theory that the formation of the Pacific took place about as early as 4.44 billion years ago when the material forming the moon was separated from what we have at present the depression occupied by the pacific. So, although the depression may have formed then, the ocean came into existence only 4000yrs ago.
Coming to the pangea, It is believed to be a continuos cycle of breaking apart n coming together. therefore, contrary to popular belief, although the pangea did exist once it was not the first original continent. there r many reasons for drifting of continents-spread of sea floor, plate tectonics,polar-fleeing force, convectional current theory etc.
Hope this helps(:

The Pacific Ocean is part of the World Ocean. The oceans of the world have been forming for over 4.5 billion years. Here are two brief Wikipedia entries that, when put together, have the information you seek:
