Part of the fantasy is making him look rich. All the rich things he's surrounded with are provided by the producers. It's not his house, his car, his drinks, his clothes, etc, etc.
I'm sure he lives ok, but he still has to work. I mean, why would he be on a VH1 reality show if he didn't need money? He can probably makes a little bit of money for doing appearances at odd events. I'm not saying he's washed up, though. At least he made the show funny. Some celeb-reality stars just collect their paycheck. Like that dude from New Kids on the Block. He added nothing to that show.
Jay-Z sampled Public Enemy's "Show Em Watcha Got" on his song "Show Me What You Got". That's Flav going "show em what ya got!"

he's not as rich as other celebrities , but thanks to vh1 this is his 4th reality tv show and 3 of them went to dvd, he has a new album now and he is still getting $$ from public enemy along with samples, and guest apperances , he is doing very well

Public Enemy sucked to begin with. I don't think he is as rich as they make him out to be, but he is DEFINITELY as ugly and billy-goat looking as he EVER was! Grody. I wouldn't get with him if he was the richest man in the world. I would not be able to bring myself to kiss him. I dig a tall, good-looking brotha, but he is certainly not one of them.

I think that house he was living in was just for the show..What I don't understand is what do all these young girls see in him, we all know it isn't his looks!!!
