Nintendo is on troack for it's goal to have 3 Million Wii's having hit the shelves before Christmas. So far they've sold a little bit over a million so there are almost two million more up for grabs.
I got mine at Toys R Us and have heard others say Torys R Us worked out a deal to get more than other retailers. I don't know if that's true, but it worked out for me. Also, I would start looking for shipments over this weekend and early in the week. There should be another batch heading for stores very, very soon.

I lined up at Best Buy at 8:00 in the morning and came home with one. Try checking on weekends because they usually carry 15 -40. At the Best Buy where I went, they had 42.Good luck finding one!

Walmart will have them (minimu 3 per store) next wednesday.
