States Rights again as a cause..

Why? Because they're not in control for once? The last three Presidents and five of the last seven were Southerners (Bush, Clinton, Bush, Carter, Johnson). The last two Senate Majority Leaders (Frist and Lott) and a former Speaker of the House (Gingrich) were from the South. The South isn't the only part of the country. Get over it.

Where would they go? They all seem so attached to the rest of the North American plate. Perhaps a landslide could move them a bit into the Caribbean, but other than that I think they really aren't able to leave.
