So where is the tax money is going to come from when we all give up next year because there is nowhere to smoke.
Government is going to lose money from tax where are we going to be hit now? Why don't they just ban tobacco from UK? are we just being conned? Get those patches ready people and dig in your pockets.

Yes big con. If they wanted to stop smoking they would make it illegal. They will get the tax back by more stealth taxes and raising the duty on fags. Don't ever think the goverment give a sh@t about anyone else but themselves.

They have already introduced that ban in Ontario, Canada. I dont think it has actually affected the number of smokers at all. But think of it this way, it also saves people money on health care, because of hte effects of second-hand smoke. I dont know how much health care is provided by the British gov't, but in Ontario they pay for a lot, and it helps them out to help cut down the problem. And as I said before I dont think it has really affected the number of smokers.

its only being banned in enclosed public spaces. You can still smoke outside anywhere or in your own home. Most pubs are gonna put covers outside with heaters so you can sit there all year. My local has bought a bus shelter and set it up by the fron door. Got a heater and tables so it should be kinda warm

I gave up last January cos I felt like a leper.
I hate it. I want a cigarette now!!!!
The government aint got balls. They should ban smoking totally, but they won`t, cos they want revenue.
