They canceled the show because after Shannen Doherty left, the ratings went down. Shannen is what made the show appealing.

It was canceled when Shannon D. left.
I wish I knew why... she seems to do that on every show shes on - and always when the show is doing so well. I don't get it. But I wish her well. And can't wait to see her next project...
