I don't have any personal experience, but I typed up Stretch Marks into Yahoo Search and there is one product TriLastin that gives a good pitch. Also when I had a small accident couple of years ago that resulted in my needing ten stitches to one side of my chin,. I had my doctor prescribe me some Retin-A cream and I rubbed a little of that into my chin scar. Two years later I can still see the scarline but hardly anyone else notices it till I point it out. It seems to have smoothed the scar tissue quite a bit. Friend of mine said she had got good results from just plain old cocoa butter. Its cheap, and there's a slew of products out there that are "pure cocoa butter" I think the main thing is to keep on rubbing, rubbing, rubbing whatever stuff you use into the stretch lines, but what I like about the prescription Retin-A is that it actually does stimulate the production of collagen in that area. Some of the other products like TriLastin might do that to some extent, but I'd just suggest you take a little time and browse the various products listed on the Net and give one of them a try.

stretch marks are scars, your skin loose its flexibility and your skin is broken. You cant never erase them, you can only faint them. The only way to make them go, for example in the belly after a pregnancy is by a tummy tuck wit a plastic surgeon, and what he do is cut the skin that is damaged.

Shea butter is excellent. I cant stress the benefits enough! After only a year and a half of use my stretch marks are barely visible. Shea butter and time are all you need for stretch marks.

if they are already a whitish color, u cant get rid of them anymore. the sooner u try to get rid of them the better. i would try the cream especially for stretch marks. Palmer's works really well. unfortually, u will NEVER get rid of them, but make-up works well. if they are still a brownish/redish color u should use the Palmers cream, but u will still see them, but they will be less noticable

time. Keeping the skin healthy with lotion. Mederma, and tanning.

But the bulk of it comes down to time and genetics. You cant get rid of them completely, but their apperence will lessen greatly as time passes. They will lose that purple irritated color, and be a touch paler than your normal skin tone.
