Depends on how much music you want it to hold. If your gonna get one even though it's more pricey, the 30 & 60 gb ipod will hold your whole library & you'll probably wont have to buy another mp3 player for a long time. I spent $100 each on 2 lesser mp3 players before I got my 30 gig ipod last year. And its lasted me a so far. I'm getting my fiance a 30 gig & my 15 year old sister a 1 gig nano. I love ipods!

yes I have one and I love it to dealth it the best gift ever I have nano 2 GB and I still have room to put more songs! I love it! I have a really nice case for it too! I thought I really did not want ipod but then my parents suprise me and now I am so happy!
I can't live without my ipod!

you might want to research the different mp3 players. the ipods are cute, but if you tend to drop things, or break things, it's not a good one to get. you can't change the battery on them without paying crazy $, and they are really small. if you research mp3 players really well, it will also show your parents that you are responsible.

i might say the computing device because of the fact with an ipod all you're able to do is pay attention to song, and a working laptop or computing device can show you how to with college artwork, you additionally pays attention to song, and this is much extra imaginative....(stable luck choosing!!!!)
