You did say a good book, so I'd definitely pick the fire, but I LOVE reading. I'm also married with children, and don't spend a lot of time drinking.

You didn't say what your situation is like, so it's hard to say if you're missing something important (like meeting your soulmate). I guess it depends if going out is something you do a lot or if you and a book are best friends. If you spend more time on the couch than out meeting people, than you should have gone out with your mates. If you normally party like part of a rap moguls' entourage than a night in every now and then is no big deal.

It's good that you have friends that want to hang out with you, no matter what you decide. There are people in the world that would love to be in your position. Hope you enjoy your book!

Well I would prefer to go out with frenz, but not drinking. Maybe a movie or dinner. Sometimes, you just need some personal time, so I dnt believe you are losing out. It is unhealthy to be isolated all of the time. Just remember to prioritize and keep balance in between social time and personal time. Too much or too little of either could get you in problems.
Good luck!

Yes every once in awhile ...sometimes it's just nice to relax...I've realized that every single bar and nightclub are the same...so after a certain point it becomes boring and lame ...but yeah lol you will probably miss something funny/stupid that your friends will do...but I'd take the night and relax and have some you time to reflect on your life.

I prefer a Saturday night in front of a fire laying on a blanket with my man!

I am a fire and book person or a blanket and movie person. Not a party with friends person.

No, and what is better is that even if you are reading fiction, you will learn something new from reading. Happy reading.
