do you think if a non-celebrity had asked oprah's question he/she would have got as many responses?

and why are some people just being horrid when they reply; i mean, if you don't like her were you just waiting for her to be on "yahoo answers" before you let her know that? and if you didn't answer her question, let me know (you're probably the only one who hasn't yet - lol). Yeah, but if you or i were the one who asked the question, would we have gotten as many replies? do you think people answered it so much because it was a good question, or just becuase well...it's oprah!?

No, I don't think anyone but a celebrity could get that many answers. I'm not really sure why some answer horridly I guess it might make them feel better. Isn't that what mom's always tell their kids when someone is picking on them? I didn't actually vote because a lot of people had already answered the question and I didn't see much point in repeating an answer since it was such a serious question. Most people probably answered cause it was Oprah not because of the question. :)

I haven't answered it and I don't think the question would have gotten as many answers if it had been asked by a mere mortal like ourselves, it is a good question but I don't think it would've gotten the response it did if it wasn't asked by Oprah.

No, they would have gotten maybe 30 answers, the majority of which would have been like "You're stupid" or "you wasted 5 points to ask this?"

I have not read her answers. I welcome her, Jay-z, and any other celebrity to Answers, but I'm getting tired of seeing her every time I log on.
