I think it means you feel helpless. Perhaps there's someone in your life right now (or possibly even yourself) that you want to help. For instance: You have a feeling this person is going down a [self-]destructive path (a tree hitting them), and, in real life, they ignore you though you try to tell them. In your dream, however, you have a little more control, as well as many different oppurtunities, and you can save that person.
The same is true for running, searching, or fighting. Your searching for an answer, fighting for hope, or running from something terrible. Your inner anxieties are speaking through your subconcious.
Unless, of course, this is simply all because you had a bad tuna sandwich before you went to bed. Then the fish is to blame.
I joke, though. Review the last few days, see if there is anything that sounds close to what I've said. Go to someone much wiser than me for advice.

My dreams are usually very literal, so I have no trouble figuring them out. Like, if I feel like I'm not communicating well, or I'm not being heard, I dream that my mouth is full of cotton or a long strip of fabric and I can't pull it all out and I therefore can't talk.
Sometimes I dream things that happen later on (usually the next day.) As far as running, fighting, etc.--I'd say it's a call to action of some sort. It might not be *active* action--it might mean, like, you need to work on a problem or relationship or something. It might be a symbol.
Or you've been watching a bunch of martial arts flicks and they've influenced you. Sometimes I just dream about stuff I've seen on TV--it's not all significant. Don't attach too much meaning to something that seems an awful lot like what you just saw in a movie or on TV.

I beleive that dreams are often related to something on your mind or have recently seen on TV.My dreams are in full color (vivid) i sence smell and taste and even tempature.I can do calculations and reason, and feel emtions like love or sadness.I fly jump over trees and wake up laughing or crying.I cant take the seriously.I was mad once at a freind and knew that but didnt know why.I realised later I had a dream where he did something I didnt like, and that it was only a dream and that I really had no reason to be mad because it never happened. The strangest dreams I ever had were to my knoledge when I was walking on the beach at night alone.I could "feel" the cool air from the ocean and smell the salt from it in the air.I walked thru some buildings on the shoreline and saw a body next to a fallen tree. There was a dark person in the shadows and he had a gun.He told me to lay next to the dead guy and I knew he was about to shoot me in the back off my head execution style.I woke up thank god.The other was a comepletely black/purple sky and I could hear engines.I then could barely make out these figures but realised it was a missing fleet of planes that vanished in the Bermuda triangle.(where the hell did I get that?) Flames the appeared in the clouds and as I turned around the entire earth was in flames and I saw my mother. We ran to eachother and before we could say I love you to eachother (knowing it was armegedon, the end of the world) we started to burn at such a tempature we were actually meltinng.Re think your life saving thoughts. They are only dreams.

The knowing what is going to happen before it happens represents your quest for power and control over your environment and the people around you, but I mean this to be in a helpful way that people dont even realize. The running, searching and fighting represents your quest for knowledge outside of the normal methods or according to your own path, about keeping your individuality, and flight away from others that would try to turn you in a different direction.

If No. l is actually a dream then a TREE signifies your strengths and energies so the action around it is the point. No. 2. RUNNING, SEARCHING, FIGHTING is pretty much self explanatory. So what was the action around it? Family, work, friends, that's what your trying to get away from. Ok?
