I was using a local internet provider until I switched to People Pc. Instead of speeding it up like it claims it can do, My computer is slower than it ever was and it wont load sites that need Java.

Yeah, peoplepc sucks! Its low rent internet service! Look into DSL in your neighborhood! You will probably find it for 5 to 8 dollars more a month than what you are payin for that funk!

was your former isp broadband or dialup? Is people pc dialup? If so , see if there's a broadband provider for you.

I would cancel with them, and go with a broadband cable provider.
