I know that sportscards after 1989 we're mass produced and they have an extreme amount of them. They were rare that's why they we're high in value. I have a ton of sure to be or already in the hall of fame rookie cards. How many years do you think it will take for them to be worth in the hundreds and thousands of dollars like the sportscards from the 1950's and 1960's? 1970's and 1980's were high in value too, however, not as much as the 50's and 60's. You can still get cards of good players from the 1990's for like 50 cents. When will they hit those big time dollar amounts as well?

I don't see the card collecting, for more recent cards, ever reaching the monetary level of the old cards. Too many are being made for the small amount of interest in them.Children aren't interested in collecting as much as they used to be.In my opinion, it's a dying hobby, like toy train collecting. There will always be people collecting them..for the love of collecting..not for any future monetary value.
