no, haliburton was the largest government contractor even during Clinton.
The trouble is that to be able to get government contracts they have to be meet all sorts of requirements. There are almost no company large enough to bid on most contracts.
Lets say they have a bid to supply food for 300,000 people in war zone, What company in the US has the resourses to bid on that.

Check out how many Democrats in Congress own Haliburton stock.
Besides, Haliburton is a good company, pays good wages & beneifits, and hires thousands of people.

I doubt it. The Dems have decided they'll look too mean if they go after corruption in the Republican party, so they'll probably look the other way. They've already said they won't be using their subpoena powers except in extreme cases.
All politicians are really cut from the same cloth. Now that they are elected, they'll buddy up again with their recent enemies.
