Like you I am a Spurs fan and have been for many a year.Unless you follow Man U ,Arsenal or Chelsea it's always gonna be more let down and disapointment than joy ,the problem for supporters of the big 3 is that the more success they have the more it becomes common place and the less pleasure they get from winning.Just look at the reaction in West London when Chelsea won last seasons prem and the way hammers fans celebrated getting to last seasons cup final.
Can you imagine the scenes in Newcastle if they won the prem ,it would be fantastic .
The truth is that it does not matter how good a manager you have ,the teams that win are always backed by the clubs with the most money.Wenger ,Mourinio and Fergie could not turn a Man City,Spurs or Everton into a premiership winning team unless they came with shed loads of money on the other hand ,Chelsea ,Man U and Arsenal managed by ,Jol,Moyes or Pearce would remain at the top of the pile.
Even Liverpool are now just another decent team ,I know they won the CL the other year ,but you just need a decent team and the luck to go your way to win that comp.Look at Porto when they won it they benefitted from a bad descion or 2 when they played up at Old Trafford ,and Liverpool when they played Chelsea getting the benefit of luck when they were awarded a goal that never crossed the line.
Just keep the faith my friend and enjoy the wins when they come along .

In football you have to take the rough with the smooth.
Passion comes with home grown players but local fans tend to give them more stick than foreign imports.
That is the same for all teams and players, regardless of nationality or upbringing.
Maybe academy's can bring English football back to the respectable elements shown in the 80's.
Frankly mate, there's to much money, to many prima donor's!!!.

I used to be a Spurs fan years ago then I changed to Chelsea. Now I'm much happier and my life has improved greatly. I always advice football fans that because there is no pay for the fans, its a completely worthless exercise and therefore not worth the stress if a team is always losing.

If they cant be bothered to win, I cant be bothered to support them.Simple really.

You didn't have the legs today for whatever reason, possibly the Arsenal game? Its perhaps testament to squad size or the lack of it.
