I dont think its illegal if you only use it for listening and sharing with other users,but to download and sell, I reckon it would be and should be,but you do get some dodgy characters trying to give you a load of crap on limewire

It is. I think they just passed some stupid law making it illegal and then the music industry went after Napster for it. But people still download free music illegally from many different programs. Just f you are using a PC watch out for spyware and viruses that appear to be free music on these programs.

it's only illegal to play it in public. the only way to download an album is through programs and that is dodgy. far too many viruses otherwise its just collating the tracks you can find individually

Not illegal unless you plan to sell mixed cd's, if you meant for your own privat use totally legal, been using it for over 2 years and I'm still around.

been using for a few months, pretty safe.....might have to scan your comp every couple of weeks to avoid the east european and russian twats spoiling things for everyone. i.e spyware etc
