If you beleive in God, Allah, Buddah or whatever your faith can you PROVE God over Science.?

Use support from sources other than a bible or quran which are nothing more than mythical books written by the hand of mankind, no one can prove divine text. Beleif is not enough, facts are what matter to me, so prove to me that God does or does not exist without using passages from a great fantasy book. Just because i do not beleive in holy books does not mean there is no God, it also does not mean there is one also.

They are one. Energy can't be made only changed. What is energy but God.

It is not necessary to prove the higher power over science. In a sense, and on a certain level, both are one.

There are at least some scientists today that believe in a higher power.

Both are an attempt to get explainations for things there is no easy answer to, like how we came to be, how all the universes came into existence, etc.

They must practice separately, without interference from one another. Because even though there root is the same, there paths are different.

One deals with spiritual things, the other with hard cold facts. But it is amazing how often the two collide and coincide with each other, to the point where you can't always tell which is which.

Take Einstein's, Matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Doesn't that also sound spiritual? Einstein was a great believer.

Can you truely prove Science over God? If there is no God, than what would the answer be for the fact that we even exist? What scientific answer could you give for the existance of the Earth, the sun and moon and stars? Why is it that there was a perfect atmosphere in place to home our species? What could possible have caused the things that exist to exist. Where would the gases and rocks etc. come from to even have been there in existance to allow the BIG BANG theory to be an option for you? There are miracles every day proving that God exists, Just because a person is too ignorant or self righteous to see them doesn't make them any less real. Do you breath every day? Do you have a home or food to eat? Do you have a job to pay your bills? You may not believe in Him, but obviously, He believes in you. Now I know you are going to say, "not everyone has those things" God has a plan for all of us. It is not always for us to understand. But, think about it. If you started living a life that included God, and the blessings were coming your way, would you then have your proof, or would you be one of those who simply were too small minded to see the bigger picture? God has already proven Himself, now it our turn to prove ourselves. What will you do to say Thank You to him for all you have been given?

If you prove it it will only be to yourself thru feelings and what happens to you during prayer such as receiving the holy ghost or speaking in tounges.Those experiances are what will let you know its for real.Science will fight you all the way on god.Facts are not the way because they can all be disputed,argued.I beleive there is 1 god only but not 1 paticular faith is the only 1.The guy that spends his entire day spinning a trinket that the more he spins the higher he is in heaven dosent deserve to die simply because he was born into the wrong culture,country and therefore tought the wrong religion.

This wont spark any amazing debate sorry. Those types always say "its all about having faith!!". This means they just believe what they are told or read without ever needing proof. They can feel it in their hearts.. similar to indigestion i guess.. So many generations have grown up being religious because thats what they learnt from their parents when they were too small to think for themselves. When youre very young (or stupid) you have faith that what your parents or community leaders tell you is true without question dont you? So i guess my point is of course they can't prove a GOD, you know that, I know that, but they will say they dont need to cos its about having faith.
I have FAITH that historically religions were invented to keep populations in line, and nowadays they are invented to make money. Proof that God has nothing to do with it can be seen when church leaders change their church policies to keep in line with popular opinion to keep ppl coming to church, which keeps the bank accounts looking good.

I think that the key thing here is that IF there is something omnipotent and omnipresent, science just MAY prove it so - over a period of time. There have been many myths and legends proven by science with the studies of anthropology, archaeology, theology, etc. Those M&Ls are thousands of years old. What has been uncovered is just the tip of the iceberg. Sometimes answering one question brings up many more questions. Never seems to end, does it? Good luck in your search.

Your demand makes no sense. God exists for those who have FAITH that he does. By definition, it has absolutely nothing to do with proof. In any case, why do you need someone to prove something to you that you're obviously already sure of?

This is the first time I've spent a day or so in this category. Is this the only thing you people do in here? I've seen this and similar bizarre questions again and again. Are there no new thoughts or ideas to discuss, or is all you want to do prove each other wrong?

Science rejects anything supranormal without evidence. Therefore by definition God cannot be proven. People here say faith is enough, but I agree with Prof. Dawkins that if there were some concrete evidence of God, believers would be trumpeting it to the skies.

To the gentleman who says it will be to late to believe in God when you meet him (a version of Pascal's Wager which holds that atheism gains you nothing, but believing hedges your bets and costs nothing) I say if I meet God he will approve of my use of the brain and intelligence given to me and judge me by how I treated others alone, not in wether I followed the dictates of a book written by men to whom a wheelbarrow would have been hi-tech.

btw, there are other books as well which are much older than the holy books.... ever heard of Vedas??? they are known as the books of knowledge... no, i dont think that its claimed that they were written by GODS, but the kind of information provided there is enormous... not sure if human beings are still capable of knowing that much... there are 4 kind of veda books... one of them is on medicines... it is known as AYURVEDA (meaning LIFE SCIENCES) ... and its supposed to be written some thousands of years ago... and yes... its talks about surgical procedures... in detail... it talks about blood transfusion, and body parts replacements... yes.. surgery - thousands of years ago....

Science is just for the insecure ppl that feel they can explain everything! God is the answer to everything! Break up with your gf? Talk to God! Failed your test? Ask God for help! Ex getting on your nerves? Ask God to drop an anveil on their head!
