4. Check the Subject box
5. Click Ok to close the field chooser
6. Click on the Subject column header. may take a fe wminutes to sort.
7. Scroll down to the .msi packages until you see msi's for Norton
8. DO NOT DELETE THESE
9. Leave the folder open and adjust the size of the folder so you can see your Desktop
10. Click Start | Run
11. type msiexec /x and leave the Run dialog box open

You should go to the start menu, control panel, add or remove programs, and find Symantec. Click on remove. Sometimes it says change/remove. Select the option to repair the program. Then select the option to remove it. You should always remove programs this way to remove the entire program instead of just deleting it. Sometimes when you delete it little pieces of the program will stay in your computer and make other programs act weird. If you've already removed a piece a Systemworks it will not uninstall. I had a really big problem with this a few years ago.

Go to control panel, then add or remove programs, look for Norton Antivirus, then uninstall it. I then would recommend using a registry cleaner program such as Tuneup Utilities or Registry Mechanic. Be safe with what you delete with these programs. These downloads can be found at http://fixyourcomputer.blogspot.com/
