By reporting only the parts of stories that fit their liberal slant and omitting the complete facts. If people only get their information from these sources, they will not be completely informed and cannot make an informed decision.

Put it this way, if you watch shows like the Countdown you would understand. Olbermann never has a guy from the opposite view on his show either because he is afraid or he wants people to see only his side. He picks ONLY things that republicans do or conservatives do and immediately says "Conservatives are all bad like this guy" and turns it into a complete generalization. I feel the media does need some restrictions such as MSN deciding Iraq is in a civil war (they are fighting over there?) and the New York Times disclosure of American tactics.

It is the media which makes as aware of these individuals political aspiration.
They are being marketed and sold to us.
Technology and the increase consumption thereof has created politicians in the past.
It is said:
Hitler was able to reach the top because of the radio.
Everybody wanted to own one.
Same with TV sets and Kennedy.

The media is not unbiased or neutral. Politics and the media influence one another, and ultimately, influence who is in office.

Slanted polls, only reporting negative things about one side and only positive things about the other. It happens all the time with this liberal media.

very much so. ohio just passed a smoking law. the media had everyone so confused no one knew which issue was which. everyone thought they were voting one way and the other was passed

In the most influential way. I think they decide who will be 'king' so to speak. Then they publish stories to sway the easily influenced.
