Okay, so I was looking through my mail from two or three days ago, and I got a letter from Presidential Classroom. The first line reads:

"Congratulations on your inclusion on the High Achiever's List of the College Board's Student Search Service."

I took the PSAT about a month ago, so I'm wondering if this has to do with that, or if it is about my score from last year. (I got an 1800 on the PSAT last year as a sophomore, and I think I did better this year.)

Yes, the College Board runs the SAT testing program and your score on the PSAT is what triggered that letter to you. Be careful about paying for something that sounds like an honor, however. Lots of organizations use ego-boosting honors to worm money out of you, so use caution. One of the worst of these, in my experience, is the "Who's Who" books, but there are many others.

However, the answer to your question is that your high PSAT score did cause you to be included in the High Achievers' list.
