she is probably lonely and wants another turtle to hang around with orjust wants tocome out to play.

My little baby does that all the time. She's probably wanting attention, or smells something nice in the air being cooked. I keep her under the reptile lamp all the time. She needs to be taken out of the tank every now and then to have a little run about.

Clear walls drive turtles crazy. They don't understand them, and it is usually recommended that you either not use a clear tank or that you cover the glass so they cannot see out.

it probably means that she wants out.. or is sunning herself....cuz u know when you see turtle on logs in a pond just laying there? well thats the same thing.. they are absorbing the heat from the sun
