Well with a mother like that I can't wonder why she got pregnant. Parents don't really kill or hurt their kids because of this, belive it or not. Tell your friend not to do anything stupid, and depending on teh state you live in, if she really wants to she can or may be able to have an abortion without her mothers knowledge or concent. But Im a mom, and I would really want to be there for my daughter if anythign like that ever happened, no matter how mad I got. I think she should tell her, becuase over anything else, her mom probably loves her. IF she does hurt her she'll go to jail for a long time, if she's really afraid have another adult, maybe your parent be there when she tells her.

You friend needs to be safe--whether she's pregnant or not. I would suggest she call a pregnancy helpline and ask what they can do to help her with housing etc if she's in bodily danger.
I would advise that your friend tell her mom with other people present and then stay at your house until her mom has time to work through this!

What I think you should do is report it if there has been some type of abuse going on with your friend. Also I recommend she goes to some type of shelter they help her out finacially and she can stay there until she can find a job and i think they help her out with her rent for like 3 months. :)

you dfenitely have to ask someone for help, like a guidance teacher or a social worker. this person can tell her mother as well as help her in her pregnancy.
plus, she really needs you right now, so try to be her friend as much as possible. take care both of you

i would have her speak with someone she can trust, a trusted adult, and have someone go with her when she spills the beans to her mother, so that someone can be there for her and support her when she tells her mom about the baby. but please, no abortion. if she really doesn't want it after she has it, she can give it up for adoption

have her talk with planned parenthood for her options. then offer her a safe place to stay at your home if she needs it and you have the space. you are a good friend.
