I know she loves to read but I don't really know what kinds of books. I thought about a gift certificate but I know books are expensive. I hoped to spend between 15 - 20 dollars but don't want to look cheap. Anyone have any ideas?

You should get a Barnes and Nobles gift card. You won't look cheap... $20 can buy a book.

Definitely definitely a Barnes and Noble gift certificate! She'll love it! And if she doesn't, she'll give it to someone who does - and she'll think the world of you!

They aren't very expensive, but I always liked getting coffee mugs. You can always put something extra in them if you want to give more. I still remember each student that gave one when I use them.

15 and 20 bucks sounds like a lot to me! (but I'm in grad school now, so I couldn't afford that.)
