Anne Frank died of typhus in March of 1945. The Bergen-Belsen camp was liberated in April, 1945.
There is a memorial, and a "tombstone" at Bergen-Belsen for both Anne Frank and Margot Frank (who died days before Anne), but, it is likely that Anne and Margot were both buried in a mass grave, since the typhus epidemic killed 17,000 prisoners from February to April.
No, her body was never returned to her father.

No my father did not get the body of Anne Frank. he had no right to it fortunately for my family who is French and Catholic. Anne was probably cremated after dying of typhus in march 1945. her father got her Diary after his liberation from camps and made a lot of money from it. It is even said that part of it was written by him. He certainly edited some chapters where Anne was not too nice with her mother and commented vividly the strained relationship of her parents. But it is undeniable that she had talent and had she survived Bergen-Belsen camp she would have probably become a celebrity during her living.

Herr father Otto never got any of the bodies But I have been at Bergen Belson and seen a symbolic grave and stone in honor of her blessed memory, What the father did get was her diary which will live forever. She would have been a great author had she lived

I don't believe so. after a person died in a concentration camp they burned the bodies as to make room for the new or current hostages. now about anne franks grave...they might have a meomorial sight for her or something like that...but a grave, not likely.

A Symbolical grave stone is in Bergen-Belsen. Her real grave is among the anonymous mass graves at that site.
The body of Anne Frank went into a mass grave that contained as many as 10,000 corpses.

I'm pretty sure her body was cremated.
However, I'm pretty sure the building they hid in was made into a museum.
I think Otto Frank was the only survivor of the ordeal.
