Ok so I have a big tank with assorted freshwater fish and a littler one that I am going to use for breeding. Which fish should I use? How should I treat the water? What do I do to get some babies?!

p.s. I have 5 full grown angelfish (3 white, 2 black & white) should I just transfer them to to the smaller tank to breed them?

For begginer breeders you should start off with livebearers. Guppies, mollies, platies, and swordtails are all livebearers. For all of these you can tell the male and female by the anal fin (located by the anus.) If it is fanned out then it is a female. If not it is a male. If you don't understand this or you can't tell then ask your local pet shop and they will be able to tell you. It is a good idea to have about a 10 gallon tank if you want to breed your fish. Try to imitate the habitat of the fish if you can because it will stimulate your fish to spawn and it will keep them happy. You can also breed different kinds of fish within the same species. For example, you can breed a pineapple play and a red tuxedo platy, or a blood red molly and a dalmation molly. Most of the times, you can't tell a female from a male. So, just watch carefully because if two of the fish end up having a group of babies they will become very territorial and aggresive. They end up taking most of the space in the tank, so the easiest thing is to get another medium size tank. Transfer the babies into the medium size tank and wait til they're about medium size to take them to the pet shop to be sold. You're probably not going to make any money though, because breeding fish is very easy.

Your angelfish will pair up if they want to breed (you can tell if they have, when they start chasing all other fish out of their territory). There's not much you can do, just let them decide if they want to breed. Just keep the water clean and keep them well fed.

Most angels will eat their first batch of babies, but other than they are typically very good parents, and you can let them raise their own babies. Once they get to dime-sized, you can move them to the smaller.

If the parents are doing a crappy job, repeatedly, you can move the whole leaf of rock or whatever they lay their eggs on into the smaller tank (make sure it is properly cycled)

Good luck! When they pair up, it should be easy!
