different methods. salt and water will kill many germs and bacteria, and clean out many infections. there are also natural plants that will help, goldenseal & witch hazel are two that I know worked for specific priblems. Some infections can be cured by sprinkling sugar directly on the wound. Others justrelied on their body's natural resistance to disease to do the curing. However, many more people developed gangrene and other lethal infections because there was nothing to cure them. The death rate was very high 150 years ago

People in the days prior to antibiotics tend to have short lifespans. So when there was an infection, they let the body figh the infection. If the body was unable to fend off the infection, people simply just die. Some may have used herbal medicine like the Chinese and the Native American Indians. Thanks to modern medicine, people are living longer and healthier lives. but if people abuse the use of these antibiotics and they no longer work on the infections, we might end up like the people in the past. It's scary, but it is happening.

Antibiotics don't cure infections. They cause them. Ever see a lion taking chemicals (antibiotics) into its body? Nope. Ever see a lion with these illnesses? Nope. There ya go.

It's all about the natural methods of healing. Native Americans are also a great example.
