Hmm...lets see....

I want a house of my own, I live in an apartment.
I want a new car, I just bought a used car.
I want a good job with good pay, I am a stay at home mom.

Sound familiar? Life isn't unfair, it just is. Whats unfair is the media that shows us what we are supposed to be, do, have....movies, TV programs, commercials, magazines....and the fact that we buy into it and are never happy with what we have. Thats unfair.

Depends on who's life you're talking about. I don't think people like George Clooney or Bill Gates can complain too much. But this fellow in New York who was just released from prison after serving 20 years for a crime he didn't commit (found not guilty from DNA evidence)... now he might think life is unfair!

Life is unfair, but life is unfair for everybody. That makes life fair.

i think its in both ways, its just the way one takes it. life is unfair Cos, its got all dis nice stuff like fashion, sex, etc that really attract people yet if you become caught in it so much and you become less concious of what you do, you end up catching fatal diseases like AIDS, you get stabbed or even decieved by your own mates/family en stuff like that. so i think it really is very unfair after taking you for-granted!! BUT, its also the way you take it Cos most people don't realize that not everything comes on a silver plate!

Well life doesn't always go according to how we plan/want it to. I think when we strive to achieve something or want a certain thing for ourselves and it doesn't happen, we say it is unfair. I don't think that necessarily means things are not fair, because I think everything happens for a reason and not everything goes the way we want it to - that is life, life is not always fair.

dealing with existence and complaining about it is unfairness is in many situations like taking section in poker and complaining about each hand. for each Homer Simpson coasting alongside conveniently there are likely one thousand Frank Grimes (no longer effective on the precise Grimey ratio). i imagine 1 might want to easily settle for the crap they're dealt and attempt to bypass on with some style of wish or optimism. edit- those who've under no circumstances labored do no longer own their own living house. they could be fortunate to get a 5 grand loan, no longer to point a loan (it truly is suited to my journey besides).

yeah life is unfair...but this is how things are....i don't think we would be completely happy if we didn't have any problems and our life was perfect...it would be just too boring..and also its impossible to live without problems and difficulties....if the world was an Utopia maybe but....who can assure you that you would like it...so get used to the sh*t you meet up with in everyday life and life sucks but you can make it suck less....hihihihihi

according to whom? it is what it is, and don't take it personally--some label it unfairness when they don't receive what "they know" they deserve. volumes have been written with your question a key consideration. check out *the complete idiot's guide to toltec wisdom" for helpful insights concerning life's challenges and the average person's inability to deal with them consciously. it takes discipline and sustained effort to become a "conscious" human and deal with challenges creatively and "consciously". however, the alternative approach leads inevitably to the usual pain, drama, dissatisfaction, and pathology most people consider "a normal part of life". avoid this path--read the book ;-)

Young innocent children die in a war they had no part in except that they had the "misfortune?" to be born in a particular part of the world. Young men and women die in a war that is based completely on lies for the sake of oil field ownership. Old wealthy men hold the highest political seats in a country that purports to be "free" and yet condemn their young men and women and innocent children in other lands to die for their own personal wealth.

Please explain what you might see as being fair in this scenario.
