This raises the whole question of whether it would,be possible to run a railway system based on buttered cats! Cats, as you know, will always land on their feet, while dropped toast will always land butter side down. As it's the butter that is attracted to the ground, just butter the cats' back and do away with the toast. Drop the cat and, hey presto, perpetual motion! Butter and cats' feet in perfect oppostion. So,the train resting above the buttered cats would "float" - better than all these fancy magnetic systems the Germans are developing and a lot cheaper too - just a few packs of Anchor and some Kit e Kat!!

You sound like a bit of a butter fingers tonight, Old Algae. That`s a hundred cats you`ve dropped! Clumsy or what? They`d all land on the previous 50 you dropped.

Depends on if the butter is on their backs or facing upward.
