This is a major problem when things like htis start to happen your car starts to break down you should get it checked out by a mechanic. Good luck.

If your car has a round temp control knob on the dash, pull it off and see if it has cracked where it fits onto the control. If this is the case, the knob itself is turning but the control cable is not.A new knob is not unreasonably priced. To check for sure, use a pair of needle nose pliers and try to turn the cable end to the right. If you then get heat, the knob is the problem. Low coolant level in the radiator will also cause a no heat problem at the air vents.

Two possibilities. Hot coolant is not getting to the heater core. Or the heater controls are not working.
After the engine has heated up completely, check the hoses going from and to the heater core to see if they are hot, if not, there is a blockage in the core or in the lines.

It is either your dash switch disconnected, or your thermostat is stuck open.
