No you're smart, I buy lots of stuff from Aldi. Why pay more elsewhere? If you do have any problems you can always get a refund, they are very decent like that, you should definitely buy it.

NO medion computers are a up and coming pc manufacturer and have found a hole in the p.c market by selling in lo-cost supermarkets such as aldi, lidl and netto
ive got a mate who bought one of the monitors in question and i found it very good,he is a keen gamer and says games like doom, far cry,and quake are good quality when run on them
go for it mate, but if you can 1)pay by credit/debit card a(insurance purposes) and 2)keep your receipt(places like aldi and lidl can get funny if you dont have a valid receipt if you need to return it)
also brighthouse stores (http://www.brighthouse.info/#)do 19" tft monitors for £4 a week,ok you will pay a bit of interest but its a easier way to buy a tft flat panel,i use one from there and its a hewlett packard tft,and its got a good 8ms response rate and good contrast ratio
whatever you decide ...good luck

if you want a great 19" monitor go to www.dabs.com and look up the Benq FP91G+ this monitor is supberb. and it can be used with both the D-sub and the DVI connector connected to either one or two seperate computers and use the controls on the monitor to swap between the two.
i had an acer 17" i thought was good, until i bought this Benq and i realised just how bad the acer was.
so the choice is yours. if you have about £150 to spend then dabs is your best bet.
i hope this helps you make your choice.

Nothing is wrong with Aldi, at the end of the day it is the same anywhere you go to shop. You just be careful what you buy and examine it thoroughly first or ask one of the shop staff to show you.

Ask their returns policy. Who will repair it if it goes wrong?. Local dealer, or do you have to ship it to Germany?. Bear in mind they are "box shifters" . Tesco sell similar items and have been on TV about their policy for buyers to contact the manufacturer if their is a problem. Think it was watchdog or similar TV series. Would also check make on Internet and see if it cheaper to buy local. If your local PC shop charges an extra £30 is worth buying from them. Also bear in mind, if you have to ship it back, it must be in original packaging, so if you want to store the box etc for duration of warranty, think about the space.
