Before waxing I would use baby powder it doesn't numb it but it will help it from hurting and from being red after waxing. We used to do it in school.

Well I am an esthetician, and I have used some clients personal numbing agents on their skin before waxing, and it seems to me that it only makes the hair follicle more irritated... so I'd say forget the numbing cream and just go for the wax without it. IT usually isn't that painful if you have someone who knows what they are doing, anyways... go to a professional or learn how to do it right!
Also, use a PRE WAX lotion, it helps to calm the pain a little bit... you can get it online at beauty supply places... good luck!

there are many different types of wax, the wax I use is by Gili and its really good on my skin its honey, there is not any cream out there to use before waxing to make you skin numb, and its not recommended to put on cream or oil before waxing, the only thing you use is a menthalated spirit or rubbing alcohol, to clean the area before you wax.

Waxing is temporary hair removal method.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
