Im getting 2 guinea pigs and i wanted to know is it ok to get 2 males?

We have 2 males and they are fine together. Hamsters are a different story!!

It's perfectly fine to have two male guinea pigs. Guinea pigs are social animals and need company to remain happy. If you have a lone Guinea pig, you need to spend a lot of time with it. It is much better to buy two though. The only times two males may fight is if there is competition for a female.

Our they babies? Has one or both bred a female before? Our you sure they are two males?
Should be fine if they are both babies and never bred a female. If one or both are old enough to be considered bucks and have reproduced before you are asking for trouble, unless they have always been together.
Guinea pigs are social creatures, living in colonies. If the breeder has not damaged there personalities and kept them alone. Any social critter kept alone will go nuts...
Have had guinea pigs and worked close with the cavie assosiation....They raise and show Guinea Pigs...

The only way two males will getalong is if they are brothers and havent been bred. They fight like heck otherwise. I had a father and son combination work, because they grew up together, but i dont know if two males that dont know each other will get along. If u want two, i suggest females.

It OK to get two males as long as they are young and they should get along thou it is a little better if they are brothers(relative) then they wont have a chance of getting into a fight.(We have two boys that live together) If you plan on keeping them together you should watch them for a week and then you will know if they will get along or not.

well hi there i have 4 gueanea pigs and i think if you get 2 males theyll probaly get a little hiper! i rahther that you get a big cage aand tie it really hard so they cant get out! girls are more calm and there sweeter! so listen to me itll make a diffrence!

They will fight. You would be better off getting 2 females.
