Years ago when I had a miniature dashound, I would always get him toys because that is what he loved and even though the plastic was thick managed to chew up. I just adopted an older special needs miniature poodle, and I am thinking about getting him a bed so that if he feels like it he can lay down in that while I'm at work instead of on the futon, which I don't personally mind but I think that sometimes he might.

Oh and for all of you out there that think that dogs and cats are just animals and don't know anything I have news for you! they do know stuff and to those of us who love and care for them they are, ummmmmm, oh I know, CAN YOU SAY FAMILY???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE TO US, FAMILY AND YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOO MISSING OUT ON KNOWING WHAT TRUE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE IS AND I AM SORRY FOR YOU FOR THAT REASON. (LOSERS!)

The reason we buy pets for Christmas it is because if you look at the activity and the manger there are animals, it is a very old wives tale that the reason we buy pets for Christmas is from the Christmas story.

I go to Petco and buy them those little stockings with a bunch of toys and treats for them! Pets are very loyal and deserve a Merry Christmas too!

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. If you go to Petsmart or Petco, sometimes even Walmart has them, they make these pet stockings (for cats and dogs) filled with toys, treats, etc. I always buy these for my animals and they just love them! Pets have feelings too and if they are a part of your family, then they have just as much right to celebrate the holiday as you do!

to tutor love for the puppy. Pets are relatives to. reason they could arise with the money for it. Mine would not get something yet what she needs. She does get can provide from human beings. I purely tell them thanks. She licks them, yet she consistently licks them. Giving isn't performed because the recipient needs or expects something. Giving is performed because the GIVER needs to percentage something with the recipient. My cat has no theory what Christmas is. She's no longer looking forward to something except some nutrition, and slightly lap time. Bringing her some more desirable tuna and a nip-soaked toy on Christmas provides me as a lot (if no extra) exhilaration than giving my dad a sparkling pair of slippers. i'm no longer going to spend more desirable than $10, yet i will get a reaction that would want to easily come from people if I were to provide a $one thousand present. because because the dogs is aside of your household then why might want to he no longer get a modern-day.

For cats and dogs, you can get Christmas stockings, which have some treats and toys in them.

I think that pets are more deserving than spoilt, ugly children.

Humbug!

You can buy premade stockings or go to your pet store and check out what they have. I also check out the dollar store for stocking stuffers.

Some ideas ; bones for dogs, cat nip for cats, toys etc.....

But I wouldn't recommend spending too much on any item, many sweaters and beds get wrecked soon after they are bought. My dogs sweater didn't even last the day. She much prefers the treats and balls anyhow.

I want to get my Cat a pet stocking this year. Also just because pet's are animals it doesn't mean they can't enjoy the holiday too. Some people are real scrooges. Sigh.

Traditionally, I would get our dogs a few treats, such as bones or other goodies. We also buy them tennis balls and other toys. We've been thinking about buying doggie beds for our two dogs so they have someplace comfortable to lay and won't be taking up our bed or have to get up on the furniture.
