It depends on how Grossman handles a great matchup against a bad Minnesota Pass Defense which is ranked 31st against the pass, giving up 242.5 yards per game. Also, the Minnesota Run Defense only allows an average of 56.6 yards per game, which will force the Bears and Grossman to pass the ball more on the offensive side of the ball. If Grossman has a bad game against this Vikings Pass Defense, than yes the Chicago Bears do need to bench him.

Get off Grossman's case. Geez. People call him MVP when he does good and then as soon as he throws an incompletion, you all are at his throat. Take it easy on the guy. He is still young and is still learning. The Bears should clinch tomorrow and then you may want to bench him to keep him rested. Maybe throw him in a few games, but not all of them.
