I think you should do a coupon book. 30 redeemable coupons. Maybe 1 for xtra good grades, a bedroom clean up no complaints. Help with the laundry. It is free and the only money you need is to make a really nice one. 1 could be no arguing back or accepting advice gracefully. I am 48 and I would love one from my son who is thirteen and then have him actually honor them. If you want to buy something I have no advice because usually people only want what you can't afford. If you have an xbox get a game for just you and your dad will only play together. I love playing board games with my son a family event. No perfume please and nothing for the kitchen. Try to get away from the idea of buying something and instead do something. I brag about what my son does at work not what he buys me. (although he hasn't bought me anything significant yet)What ever you do decide to do make sure it is a thoughtful gift because any one can run to the store and buy a toaster, but no one will give you a coupon book and agree to wash your car including the inside of the windows.

If money is not in questions then pay attention to the littles things they might suggest they need - screwdriver, sewing kit...the little errand stuff adults forget to buy when we're busy. Or try to think up a "family outing" that everyone's been wanting to do but never had the time for ....like back to a restaurant or return to a memorable time "theatre, movie, ect", and write in a letter with how much spending Time with them means & it would be great to have a Family gift! A gift of your heart & fond memories but the gift of spending time together for new ones.

As a 14 year old, your probably on a very small budget. When i was 14 my parents were my ride everywhere.
Hate to say it, but you could always make them something. I'm sure your going to get this answer a lot.
I would try doing something special for them. You can cook for them or treat them to dinner at a restrant you can afford.
If you have any reletives that you live by, that could be a great chance to go shopping without your parents. You could ask them, or you could get a ride with a friend.

When my son went away to college, he didn't have much money. So for Christmas he wrote a letter to me telling me what a wonderful mother I was, and he wrote down some of his most special memories of his childhood. That gift has meant more to me than anything he could have bought. I still have it. It is my most treasured possession.

last year i got my parents a $40 gift certificate from the mall where they can pick anywhere on a list ( a very looong list) that they wanted to go. they could get a masssage, go out to dinner........there were a lot of options. i saved my money for a long time, and they used it to go out to dinner for their anniversary. this year i'm going up by $10 :)
when i asked my parents this year before i considerd another gift card, they keep saying "make me something." i think it's annoying, but if you can't think of anything else............make 'em something!

Here's something that will cost you basically nothing...
You can get a them each a Christmas card and then inside it, give them each "labor vouchers".
You can determine how many to give them and how many different kinds.
The labor vouchers for them to use for the next 12 months.
These vouchers are for them to give to you to "cash in" for you to do something special for them. Those "something specials" are up to you.
For example, you can give them +/-52 vouchers for getting their car washed and vacuumed, +/-52 vouchers to cook dinner for them, +/-52 vouchers to everyone's laundry, etc. These would be things that would mean a lot to them but you'd have to do these things when they "cash them in" with you.

Maybe you could give your parents breakfast in bed ... and really do something that could give them something from you ... maybe give them certificates for a month that you could do. Maybe not argue with your siblings, not backtalk or roll your eyes when they disipline you ... you think about it .. you know your situation better than anyone here ...
