Is it connected to the brain. If so, then how. What experiences cause certain fears or phobias?

Please help need answers quick

The unknown or sometimes the known can cause fears and phobias... think what would happen if you fell into a snake pit? Most likely you would be afraid of snakes from then on... :o(

Unpleasant or undesired outcome of an event may cause fear.
Unknown causes fear.
Creepy feeling or slimy feeling of insects/lizards/cockroaches etc. may cause fear.

Fears appear when we are not prepared to face the reality/truth.

We all have strange fears I'm scared of bugs ants, flys, etc. you may have a bad memory that has to do with flowers and you just don't remember it because you're brain blocked it out.

Right, this is a hard one. Ive had phobias and fears on...
Spiders
Snakes
and some other animals. I think this is because i think they can do something to me, ei, hurt me. Because you know from tv and books they say snakes can be poisonous and so on...
