Going to be at least $800-1000 to move the furnace over. Fabrication and installation of duct work, extending gas piping, extending electrical, extending flue piping, extending/moving refrigerant piping, extending/moving condensate piping. MAKE SURE FLUE WILL STILL REACH where new location is.
New gas water heater (standard flue, NOT PVC) will run about $1000 assuming gas line is close and is sized for the added gas load.

As to replacing the electric water heater with gas...I did this a couple of years ago when my old electric heater developed a leak. I'm actually renting my gas heater from the gas company. They came in and took the old electric heater out (and put it outside for me), and connected the new one up. My heater location was within 6 feet of both the gas line and an electrical plug, so there was no extra cost involved. And the work was done for free, because of the rental agreement. (I'm paying $18 a month for renting the water heater.)
Can't help you regarding the cost of moving the furnace. Could you upgrade to a high efficiency furnace at the same time, and maybe save the extra charges for moving the furnace, because installation includes the cost of ducting anyway?
If I had the decision to make again, I would go for an on-demand water heater instead of the 50 gallon tank I now have. It is cheaper again than having a tank, because you are not using any gas to keep the tank of water hot between uses. All you use is the gas it takes to heat the hot water, as you use it. I like that idea.

gasoline furnaces are noisy. It has fan noise, burner combustion noise, & the fan moving the air to the ducts. the ideal answer is to supply an enclosure around the unit. it is going to be an enclosure with a min of 2x4 wall shape with insulation between the studs & a plywood dealing with over the insulated wall.this might supply a valid relief of 80 to ninety decibels in noise. word of the available issues of enclosing a loose status furnace. First it desires to have a return air commencing on the backside of the furnace. 2d gasoline warmers (furnaces) could have combustion air to permit the gasoline burn good. this could be a 2d commencing in the wall in basic terms for that objective. this might could be placed & sized consistent with your interior of reach codes. commonly an commencing of 324 sq. inches will suffice for many residential furnaces. finally, your undertaking approximately being risky is a small undertaking. The furnace has to have a gasoline valve with a computerized close off in case the pilot mild fails to ignite. in fact in case you come back to a determination to embody the unit if the gasoline valve fails a great style of the escaping fumes will pass up the flue on the furnace. wish this facilitates.feel free to touch me if needed.

Id guess about 500 bucks to move your furnace and make new duct work and tubing, and about 400 bucks for a new heater install where there wasnt one before

some of these "estimates" may be close if you're out in the boonies and you're paying for your furnace moving job with animal pelts, but in urban communities these guesses may be woefully low. You'll only disappoint yourself until you get the local pros out there to give you a real quote.
