It's the book for all french phone numbers. You need to know the town or at least the department. There is no way to find someone in the whole country easily.

Try first to go Yahoo France, then ask any one have heard about him or her, you give his or her age, the last place you think she or he lived...
Now you are lucky as I speak French... I am not French, though.
