Yes, I have been there more than once. Everybody should see it and maybe would help many understand the suffering so many millions of people went through during the war.

It is a very moving experience.

Depressing but worth going.

If you are into that stuff there are other places to visit to get the bigger picture:

War and resistance museum (oorlogs en verzetsmuseum) in Overloon in the south of the country.

Air-born museum in Arnhem (Bridge too far).

Yes, when I was in Amsterdam I visited it. Is an unforgetable experience, especially for people who didn't live during the war.

It is one of the most moving experiences that i have ever had travelling. Everyone should go there and really think about how these people lived for years.
