I'm a freshmen in highschool and never really had a boyfriend. All my friends have. I'm waiting for someone special to come around and sweep me off my feet. Highschool boys are usually too immature for me. I feel lonely and wish someone would care for me like that. This happens especially at dances. Is this wrong? I also have problems trusting people because of things that happened in my past. Please help me. I'm soo confused and lonely I just don't know what to do next.

try meeting guys from others school that way he wont know you dont have any dating experience and you can keep your lives seperate and he wont be up your butt all the time most of tthe time spending less time with your significant other is better because you appreciate more and you dont get as bored with them good luck you could try church or the local gym umm even myspace just be careful on there good lcuk gurl youll meet that special guy someday he will be worth the wait too

Hate to tell you this but you're stuck with those high school boys because no college guy is going to get charged for going out with a highschool-er no matter how hot you look.
Don't worry about getting a boyfriend. It doesn't make you any less pretty or less of a woman. I know you feel like there's that expectation but that's only because you're in high school.
Things get better when you leave. A lot better.

You're a freshman in highschool, you don't NEED a boyfriend. Besdies highschool boys, as immature for you as they seem (and you might want to check your own maturity level), are the only boys you CAN date without the chance of a guy ending up in jail. Your own immaturity shines through in your own "desperateness" to have a boyfriend. I suggest sticking to your studies and focusing on friendships rather than relationships because you're obviously not ready for a "love" relationship.

i didn't have a boy friend until i graduated and now we r at the hospital waiting for triplets so don't feel bad he will come up sooner or later OK fell better plus having a boyfriend to young can cause problems drinking, sex,pregnancy etc good luck and be wise

you are still young, and any guy you do start dating, won't be around forever. guys will come and go from your life for the next 10 to 15 years. just continue to be who you are and that "special" guy will find you.
