Hi can anyone help me please my printer has not worked scene's HP update, has anyone downloaded it? and had the same?
And if anyone has any more ideas, or they have had the problum with there printer to?? please can you let me no? Thanks
I have had someone say, buy a new printer(**) but not like me 2 give up on anything not even this printer!! This is what I think coused it 27/10/2006 23:10:58 Allowed value "HP Software Update" (new data deleted in System Startup global entry -(*-*)

Hi June.
Type "msconfig" from a command prompt, and disable ANYTHING from HP that starts up automatically. You dont need it. Open your printers and right click on the printer you are having problems with and delete. Restart WITHOUT your printer connected. Once you are up and running, connect your printer. You will get the add hardware wizard. Let it run and you should be fine.

either do a system restore to a point that was before your printer stopped working, or try and reinstall the update, or uninstall your printer from control panel-system-hardware-hardware manager then reinstall it, or try unplugging the printer for about a minute and plug it back in it and try it. That fixed my printer once when the computer kept spitting "cannot communicate with printer" errors at me.
