In North America there are 3 predominate languages English, Spanish and French. In Canada they speak English and French depending on which part you are in. In the US we have no official language but most speak English or Spanish. In Mexico they speak mostly Spanish with some English.
Now which one should be the official language? English, but only because it is used most widely. I think everyone should learn how to speak more than 1 language and I think here in the US, Spanish is a logical 2nd choice.

i say english but i don't mind that we have other languages spoken here. the people that do speak spanish or french or whatever should at least learn some english if they want to live here. that's my opinion. i have nothing against anyone who speaks another language

in the us should be spoken English
in Canada spoken in French and English

english is the most common but i dont think it should matter -- yes they should know some english but u know we are the only country that doesnt expand our minds by learning another language??

Whatever you want, HOWEVER, everyone should be able to pass some sort of minimum requirement for basic english, before they are allowed to live here!

umm, well english is the national language of canada and us and french is one of the national languages in canada and spanish in mexico i guess
