how do you setup a home studio to make music?

I dunno but while i surf I see a buncha programs that let you create your own beats, i'm almost 100% they work cause I trust the site, so e-mail me if you want them

We put sound board (sound proof drywall) on the ceilings and walls in our basement. Padded the floor. Purchased a sound board and mixer (get a used one if you are beginning) from a local music shop. Voila...of course we already had mic's, amps, etc. Good luck and have fun!
