no difference. depends on where they got their latest delivery from and so neither one is better. you have to check them both and hope your luck is good that day.

Well from personal experience, TJ Maxx has great clothes at low prices. However, if your looking for more high end apparel, Marshalls is the way to go. I'm frugal, so I swear by TJ Maxx - Happy shopping!

I actually think they're owned by the same parent-company. I usually have better luck at TJ Maxx- especially for shoes and Juniors clothes. If you have a Ross near you, it's even cheaper, but the clothes aren't as great in quality.

TJ Maxx is so much better. They sell brand name items that are "in" for so much cheaper than if u would have got it somewhere else. Once I got a pair of KSwiss sneakers there for $30. I saw the same pair at The Foot Locker for $60!

I'd say they're about the same. Although I think TJ's has more of a selection as far as clearance items go. They both carry relatively the same things, styles and brands as well.

It varies store by store. Where I live, TJMaxx is better. Where my sister in law lives (20 miles away) Marshalls is better.
