im thinking about getting a pda phone from verizon (maybe the xv6700, or might wait for the upgrade or a treo). but if it is wi-fi enabled, does that mean i can connect wirelessly throught my wireless router at home and go on the internet without having to pay for verizon's $45/month data plan to go on the internet??

i have the 6700, i like it because it is my pda and my phone. I like the bigger buttons for typing.

No, you can not just connect from your wireless router, I tried and it does not work

no u cant. verizon wouldnt make any money like that!!!
