If you can't own up to something you did you must be very insecure about yourself. How would you like it if you took the fall for someone else? What if it ruined your life? You should know the answer to this question already. You should take responsability.

Not a bad person, but you do need to own up to what really took place. That's what a responsible person would do and obviously it is bothering you that this took place so clear your conscious and do the right thing!

not neccisarily, maybe it was just the wrong place at the wrong time and you didn't speak that does not make you a bad person, but sooner or later karma will come around, so just be ready
