Who you are is not always what people perceive you to be
Just one example
When WW2 Field Marshal Montgommery retired he was well set up with a good army pension and other investments. However he continued to draw his weekly state old age pension to the dismay of some quarters who thought he didn't need the money and should not be claiming it. He was infact donating it weekly to charity but his public profile didn't show this fact to his detriment. Did he care? Who knows?
So what defines who you are? Not public perception
I think it is how the people that matter to you perceive you

Ummmm difficult question (for me cos im abit dumb) - On a general level the first things that will define who you are- is what you look like. But this will depend on several dynamics such as where you live, culture, age, sex, and so on. The flawed thing about this is
the outcome would depend on another persons perceptions and as most people are crazy that would be a daft thing to judge yourself on.
The second thing that defines you which totally erases any need to even worry about the above is how you behave, this i think eventually would surpass all opinions. so if your a **** but you look like an angel- people would still describe you as a ****. Well i hope thats how it works....

Who I am, how I respond to events, what I do, what I say, what I think, what's inside me and much more are what defines who I am. People are too complex and different to pigeon-hole with one definition.
