gravity is pulling you back down as soon as you hit the air, the forces spinning the earth dont have enough time to react to what happening therefore you come back down.

Because you're spinning with the Earth. We're not separate entities that have to walk to keep up with the Earth - we stick with it! Therefore, when you jump up, you're still spinning, and when gravity overcomes your effort to jump, you fall back to the Earth in the same place you jumped from.

The Earth is already in motion. You are not seperate to this, you are flying through space with our planet, jumping around won't change this much. This is 7 year old thinking. Too much cartoons, read a book.

Because you are travelling at the same speed as the earth e.g. when you are on a train you are travelling at the same speed as the train so when you jump up you stay moving so you don't move inside the train but outside you might have moved 40 feet.

The reason is that we are travelling the same speed as the earth. Like when you stop suddenly in a car without restraint you keep moving forward.

Because both you and the surface of the earth are travelling at the same speed - the relative velocity is zero.

Think of yourself travelling in a high speed train. Same principle.
