Latinos can be black, latinos can be white, latinos can be indigenous, latinos can be asians, latino is N-O-T a race. By the way there are LOTS of blacks in Latin America. Visit Cuba, Dominican Republic or Brazil and you'll see. They are descendants of slaves, like the blacks from USA. In the places where the indigenous populations was small, or was massacred, the Spanish or Portugueses brought slaves to work. Now by asking if they are blacks or mulattos, you are assuming that ALL of them have others race blood, why is that? But if they have... so what? A blue-eyed is not blue-eyed because one of him/her parents are not blue-eyed? Race is nothing more than that. By the way do you think that all blacks from USA are 100% pure, haha.

Yes sir. Rent that movie "Amistad". Remember that Spain is in Europe. European natives are caucasian.I saw a statistic somewhere that the Spanish brought more African slaves to the Carribean and South America than were brought to North America. Does Sammy Sosa look European my friend?(No offense intended to anyone). .I guess you can say that they can be " African South American" if you want. They are called afro-carribeans in the islands. In Panama they are called Chambos.Actually it looks like you have a Jamaican flag in you avatar. Your island was owned by England, that is why Jamaicans don't speak Spanish. Your neighbor is Cuba. They got black folks--Spanish.Haiti is a couple islands down, they are all black folks.Owned by France.Speak French. You see? Latino is not a race, it is a culture.
