I have a friend in Japan that I would like to send something that would be difficult to find. Specific American food products, candy, treats, or merchandise?

Because American foods are full of sugar and generally of the 'fast food' variety, not all American food may be 'liked' by Japanese, but some stuff would be Root Beer, those Reese buttercups or slabs and chocolate bars. I dont know if you will be able to send a pizza through the mail...
